Artistic Research in Aamsveen

We are excited to announce our latest project in the Aamsveen nature reserve, located near the German border in the municipality of Enschede. As part of the Isolated Nature initiative, this project focuses on conducting artistic research in the Aamsveen, a remarkable Nature2000 area known for its rich biodiversity and unique ecosystem.

Our research utilizes advanced computer vision technology to analyze and uncover the unseen aspects of this beautiful natural reserve. By capturing and interpreting data from the environment, we aim to reveal the hidden activities and intricate relationships within the Aamsveen ecosystem. This approach allows us to explore how nature interacts with its surroundings in ways that are not immediately visible to the human eye.

Aamsveen, with its diverse habitats and protected species, offers a perfect setting for this innovative project. The area’s unique characteristics, including its wetlands, heathlands, and forested regions, provide a rich tapestry of natural interactions to study. Through our research, we seek to highlight the dynamic interplay between various elements of this ecosystem, showcasing the complexity and interdependence of nature.
